Work Accident – Hip Fracture and Spinal Fracture

Employee was working as a laborer for a roofing contractor when he was caused to fall from a roof and sustained multiple injuries including a left posterior wall acetabulum fracture non-displaced, T6 compression fracture, right wrist and elbow contusions, low back sprain and concussion. Employee was hospitalized and later received out-patient treatment for his injuries which were treated non-surgically. The workers comp claim settled for $50,000 with liability accepted for future medical treatment. The third-party claim was settled at mediation for $110,000.
